Jaipur: The Indian Army has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ School, Jaipur, aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for the wards of Army personnel.
Under the agreement, eligible students will receive significant tuition fee concessions across different categories:
- 50% tuition fee concession for up to two wards of war widows, personnel who died in harness, and those declared Battle Casualties.
- 15% tuition fee concession for up to five wards of serving Army personnel.
- 15% tuition fee concession for up to three wards of retired Army personnel.
For the eligible categories covered by the 50% concession, the benefit will also extend to the admission fee, boarding fee and caution money, providing additional financial support to the families of Army personnel.
The MoU reflects the Indian Army’s continued efforts to support the educational needs and welfare of its personnel and their families, particularly the children of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
