New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar welcomed Luxembourg Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel in New Delhi and held substantive discussions on strengthening the multifaceted India-Luxembourg partnership.
Jaishankar said that trusted partnerships such as those between India and Luxembourg have gained greater importance amid ongoing global uncertainties and disruptions.
The two leaders reviewed bilateral cooperation across a wide range of sectors, including trade, investment, fintech, startups, clean technology, space, healthcare, education and mobility.
Their discussions also covered major global developments and multilateral engagement, with both sides exchanging views on issues of shared interest.
Jaishankar expressed his appreciation for Bettel’s continued support for strengthening India-Luxembourg relations as well as for closer India-European Union ties.
The meeting is expected to provide further momentum to cooperation between India and Luxembourg across emerging economic, technological and strategic areas.
