New Delh : Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh addressed the 3rd India International FinTech Festival, outlining India’s vision for building a secure, technology-driven and globally trusted financial ecosystem.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Singh said India must focus on creating an intelligent, secure and trusted financial ecosystem powered by emerging technologies. He noted that the next phase of the country’s FinTech growth will be driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI), quantum technologies, cybersecurity, blockchain and credible digital innovation.
The Minister highlighted that India’s FinTech sector has become a key driver of the country’s economic transformation through strong collaboration among the banking sector, financial institutions, technology companies and startups. He said this public-private partnership model has laid the foundation for India’s rapidly expanding innovation ecosystem.
Referring to flagship initiatives such as the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dr. Singh said India has made significant progress in advancing financial inclusion. He stressed that the country’s next goal should be to move from financial inclusion to financial empowerment, and from digital payments to digital prosperity.
Emphasising India’s growing global role in innovation, Dr. Jitendra Singh said the country has a unique opportunity to emerge as the world’s trusted innovation economy by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and strengthening its digital financial infrastructure.
