New Delhi : Addressing the media, BJP MP from the New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, Bansuri Swaraj, launched a sharp attack on Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of practicing politics based on allegations rather than constructive governance.

Bansuri Swaraj alleged that Rahul Gandhi lacks a development agenda, vision and a positive roadmap, and instead relies on accusations without factual basis. She further claimed that he repeatedly targets national institutions and ideological organisations.

Referring to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the BJP MP said the organisation has been contributing to nation-building for the past 100 years and is among the first to participate in disaster relief operations. She alleged that Rahul Gandhi repeatedly levels allegations against the RSS and described his approach as contrary to the spirit of democracy.

Bansuri Swaraj also questioned Rahul Gandhi’s stand on student-related issues, asking why he speaks in support of student protests in some places but, according to her, remains silent on paper leak issues in Jharkhand.

She alleged that Rahul Gandhi was not raising the concerns of students in Jharkhand with the same intensity and accused him of adopting a selective approach on student issues.
