Washington : India’s Ambassador to the United States, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, met Carol Tomé, Chief Executive Officer of UPS, to discuss the expanding India–US economic partnership, resilient supply chains, logistics connectivity, and the company’s growing investments and presence in India.
During the meeting, Ambassador Kwatra and the UPS CEO exchanged views on strengthening bilateral economic cooperation and enhancing logistics infrastructure to support increasing trade and investment between the two countries.
The discussions also focused on UPS’s expanding engagement in India, with both sides recognising the country’s growing role as a global hub for innovation, manufacturing, and international business.
Highlighting India’s economic potential, Ambassador Kwatra said the country offers significant opportunities for global companies across sectors, driven by its robust manufacturing ecosystem, innovation-led growth, and business-friendly environment.
The meeting underscored the importance of resilient supply chains and stronger logistics connectivity in supporting the rapidly growing strategic and economic partnership between India and the United States.
