India Shines at International Biology Olympiad; All Four Students Win Medals, Secure Gold for the Country

New Delhi: India has achieved a remarkable milestone at the 37th International Biology Olympiad (IBO) held in Vilnius, Lithuania, with all four members of the Indian team winning medals, including a prestigious Gold Medal.

The achievement was celebrated as a proud moment for the nation, with appreciation for the outstanding performance of young biology scholars Bhavyaa Gunwal, Soumil Maity, Nishit Kalani, and Anmol Kumar.

The Indian participants demonstrated exceptional knowledge and skills across advanced areas of biology, including Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, Animal Physiology, Animal Morphology and Systematics, and Plant Computational Biology.

Their success reflects the growing strength of India’s scientific talent and the dedication of young students pursuing excellence in research and innovation.
