New Delhi: Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda said that the government held its first formal discussion with protesters after receiving a proposal from their side to initiate talks.
Sharing details of the meeting, J.P. Nadda stated that discussions began at 11:50 AM and were conducted in a cordial atmosphere. An initial detailed verbal discussion was held with the representatives of the protesting group, following which they submitted a written petition to the Union Minister at around 4 PM.
The Health Minister said that the concerns raised by the protesters were heard and discussed during the interaction. He also appealed to all protesters to end their sit-in demonstration and cooperate with the administration in restoring normalcy.
Nadda emphasised the importance of maintaining peace and ensuring that dialogue remains the path forward for resolving issues. The government’s engagement with the protesters marks an effort to address concerns through discussions while maintaining public order.
