New Delhi : A large-scale protest has reportedly taken place in Pakistan-Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK), with local residents raising their voices against what they describe as government neglect, restrictions and alleged actions by Pakistani security forces as media reported .

The demonstrations intensified after talks between representatives of civilian protesters and the Pakistan Government failed to reach a resolution. Following the collapse of negotiations, protesters have announced a Long March towards Muzaffarabad on 15 July.

The movement reflects growing public anger among sections of PoJK residents over issues including governance, economic hardships and demands for greater rights and accountability.

The planned march towards Muzaffarabad, the administrative centre of PoJK, is expected to draw attention to the ongoing tensions between local groups and authorities.
