Gurugram: Acting Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra, said the inauguration of the Tower of Justice marks a historic milestone for Gurugram and reflects the nation’s commitment to further strengthening public confidence in the justice delivery system.
Delivering the welcome address at the inauguration ceremony, Justice Mishra described the occasion as a moment of pride for both Gurugram and Haryana. He said the vision for the landmark judicial complex was conceptualised by Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant and brought to fruition through the collective efforts of the Haryana Government and the Public Works Department (PWD).
He observed that the completion of the project was not solely the achievement of government institutions and officials but also the result of the tireless efforts of thousands of construction workers, masons, engineers and support staff whose dedication transformed the vision into reality.
Justice Mishra also expressed appreciation for the contribution of judicial officers, court employees and members of the legal fraternity. He thanked the local judiciary, court staff and advocates for their commitment and dedicated service, noting that their collective efforts have ensured the smooth and efficient functioning of the justice delivery system.
The formal vote of thanks was delivered by Justice Harsimran Singh Sethi, Chairman of the Building Committee of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, who acknowledged the contributions of all those involved in the successful completion of the landmark project.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several distinguished dignitaries, including Supreme Court Judges Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, Justice George Masih, Justice Prasanna B. Varale, Justice Sheel Nagu, Justice Shree Chandrashekhar, Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva and Justice Arun Palli.

The inauguration of the Tower of Justice is being viewed as a significant step towards modernising judicial infrastructure in Haryana, while reinforcing the commitment of the judiciary and the government to deliver a more efficient, transparent and citizen-centric justice system.
