New Delhi /Jakarta : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has successfully concluded his State Visit to Indonesia, marking a significant step forward in strengthening the India-Indonesia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. After completing a series of high-level engagements in Jakarta, PM Modi departed for Melbourne, Australia, for the second leg of his three-country tour.
In a special gesture reflecting the warmth and friendship between the two nations, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto personally came to the airport to see off Prime Minister Modi before his departure from Indonesia.
The visit witnessed extensive discussions between the leadership of India and Indonesia on expanding cooperation across multiple sectors, including defence and security, maritime cooperation, trade and investment, digital technology, energy security, education, healthcare, critical minerals, and people-to-people connections.
During his engagements with Indonesian leadership, PM Modi emphasized the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation and building a future-oriented partnership based on mutual trust, shared interests, and common priorities in the Indo-Pacific region.
The India-Indonesia partnership received fresh momentum during the visit, with both countries reaffirming their commitment to enhancing economic collaboration and exploring new opportunities for businesses, industries, and innovators from both nations.
The visit to Indonesia delivered significant outcomes across key areas of cooperation, further strengthening the foundation of bilateral ties and placing the India-Indonesia relationship on an even stronger footing.
