India-Canada Roundtable Explores Stronger Partnership in Critical Minerals Sector

New Delhi/Vancouver: Consul General of India Mahavir Singhvi addressed the virtual India–Canada Roundtable on Critical Minerals, organised by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry, bringing together senior government representatives and industry leaders from both countries.

The discussions focused on strengthening business-to-business (B2B) engagement and identifying new opportunities for collaboration across key Canadian provinces in the critical minerals sector.

Participants highlighted the strategic importance of India–Canada cooperation in developing secure, resilient, and diversified critical mineral value chains, which are vital for clean energy technologies, advanced manufacturing, and future industries.

In his address, Consul General Singhvi underlined the Consulate’s continued efforts to facilitate structured engagement between Indian companies and Canadian stakeholders. He emphasised expanding cooperation in mineral exploration, mining, processing, technology partnerships, and investment to further deepen bilateral economic ties.
