Gurugram : Under the guidance of District and Sessions Judge and Chairperson of the District Legal Services Authority, Vani Gopal Sharma, and the leadership of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) and DLSA Secretary Rakesh Kadian, a National Lok Adalat will be organised on May 9 at the District Court Complex.
The initiative aims to facilitate speedy, accessible, and amicable resolution of a large number of pending cases through mutual consent. A wide range of matters will be taken up, including traffic challans, bank recovery cases, motor accident claims, family disputes, civil matters, compoundable criminal cases, labour disputes, land acquisition issues, utility bill disputes, revenue cases, and other minor litigations.
Appealing to the public, CJM Rakesh Kadian urged litigants to take full advantage of the Lok Adalat to resolve their cases efficiently through a simple and cost-effective mechanism.
The initiative is expected to significantly reduce case pendency while ensuring timely justice for citizens through an alternative dispute resolution platform.
