Haryana leads in Digital Policing; SCRB Achievements set new Benchmarks

Chandigarh : Haryana Director General of Police Ajay Singhal, while chairing the 69th State Empowered Committee meeting, said that Haryana Police has made the grievance redressal system far more effective, transparent and accountable than before. Now, real-time monitoring of pending complaints in all field units across the state will be possible with a single click from the Police Headquarters. Cases pending for a long time will be taken up automatically and accountability of the concerned officers and officials will be ensured in case of any negligence.
The meeting was held at Police Headquarters, Sector-6, Panchkula, where several senior officers from field units participated through video conferencing. SCRB Chief Sibash Kaviraj presented a progress report on the work being carried out by SCRB. During the meeting, the DGP emphasized strengthening the grievance mechanism through modern technology. He said that hotspot mapping of the FIR and complaint modules should be conducted so that sensitive areas can be identified and prompt action ensured. He further stressed that along with continuous monitoring of complaints through CCTNS, special focus should be placed on their timely and effective disposal.
Emphasis on strengthening supervision
Mr. Singhal clearly stated that the success of any system depends on strong supervision. He directed all Superintendents of Police to hold regular review meetings, closely monitor pending cases, and guide subordinate staff so that shortcomings can be addressed in time. Encouraging the officers, he said that with effective leadership, better coordination and continuous monitoring, every district can achieve excellent performance. The DGP expressed confidence that through positive leadership and teamwork, Haryana Police will register remarkable improvements on every parameter and further strengthen its achievements.
During the meeting, Superintendent of Police, SCRB, Nitika Gehlot informed that Haryana Police services have been successfully integrated with DigiLocker. Now various certificates issued by Haryana Police can be securely stored in DigiLocker, enabling citizens to directly benefit from digital facilities.
Remarkable achievements and impressive progress of SCRB
SP SCRB Nitika Gehlot, through a PowerPoint presentation, presented a detailed progress report and informed that since the last meeting, Haryana Police has achieved historic milestones in technological strengthening and citizen services. From June 2021 till now, the state has secured the top position at the national level 42 times in the last 56 months, demonstrating consistent excellence. In January 2026, Haryana set a new benchmark by achieving 100 percent marks.
On the RTS dashboard, Haryana Police has consistently secured 10/10 marks in citizen services, becoming a model of timely, transparent and accountable service delivery. As of February 27, 2026, a total of 80,52,770 applications on the Saral portal have been successfully disposed of within the prescribed time limit, reflecting excellent administrative efficiency. In addition, under ICJS integration and MedLeaPR, Haryana has also secured 10/10 marks on the NCRB dashboard, further strengthening its leading position in the field of digital policing.
These achievements of Haryana Police not only symbolize technological empowerment but also underline its commitment towards citizen-centric, transparent and accountable governance.
