Gurugram : The Zone 3 Tax Branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation took strict action to recover property tax dues and sealed two properties. This action was taken due to long-term non-payment of taxes.
On Thursday, a property in C-1, Block, Palam Vihar was sealed. Property tax dues amounting to ₹19,00,424 were pending, which remained unpaid despite repeated notices. Additionally, sealing action was taken at B-1, Spanish Court, Sectors 2 and 3, Palam Vihar, where tax dues totaled ₹10,69,734.
Municipal Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya stated that such action will continue against property tax arrears. Taxpayers are urged to pay their property taxes on time, otherwise sealing, confiscation, and other legal action may be taken as per the rules. All property owners are requested to cooperate with city development efforts by paying their outstanding taxes on time and avoid punitive action.
