Chandigarh : Haryana Government has nominated the Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district as the link officer of that Municipal Corporation Commissioner with the aim of ensuring smooth functioning of Municipal Corporations in the state.
As per the order issued by the Chief Secretary’s Office, if the post of a Municipal Corporation Commissioner remains vacant due to transfer, retirement, leave, training, tour or election work, then the Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district will look after the work of that Municipal Corporation Commissioner.
It has also been clarified in the order that it will be mandatory for the officer going for leave, training, tour or election work to inform his nominated link officer in advance.
