Gurugram : Despite the continuous rain in Gurugram, power supply continues normally. Officers have been deputed at each substation for power supply in both the operation circles of Gurugram so that smooth power supply continues.
Superintending Engineer of Operation Circle 2 Manoj Yadav said that power supply was done as in normal days. Due to continuous rain, precautions have been taken so that any kind of untoward incident can be avoided in any area.
Superintending Engineer Shyamveer Saini of South Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation Gurugram Circle 1 said that despite the rain, there was smooth power supply in all the areas of the circle. He said that due to rain, there was some problem in the power transformer of 220 kV substation built in Sector 107 in the evening. The team of electricity officials is working continuously, power supply will be restored late in the evening.
A spokesperson of the Electricity Corporation said that any citizen can send information about the danger of electricity accidents to the security officer.
