Haryana Governor Professor Asim Ghosh pays Obeisance at Gurdwara Nada Sahib

Chandigarh : Haryana Governor Professor Asim Kumar Ghosh along with his wife Mitra Ghosh on Sunday paid obeisance at the famous Gurdwara Nada Sahib in Panchkula.

Governor Professor Ghosh said that he is extremely honoured and privileged to visit the historic and holy Gurdwara Nada Sahib. He also appreciated the efforts of the Gurdwara management for the upliftment of the poor.

The Governor announced financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh for the poor and needy persons during this period. He also promised to provide all possible assistance to the Gurdwara while interacting with the members of the Management Committee.

Governor Professor Ghosh appreciated the courage and supreme sacrifice of the Sikh community for the security of the country. The Management Committee of Gurdwara Nada Sahib honoured Governor Professor Asim Kumar Ghosh and his wife Smt. Mitra Ghosh by presenting them Siropa on this occasion.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Nisha Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police Srishti Gupta, Haryana Gurdwara Managing Committee President Jagdish Singh Jhinda, religious leader Baljit Singh Daduwal, Gurdwara Management Committee member Swarn Singh Banga Tibba, BJP District President Ajay Mittal, Chief Granthi of the Gurdwara Jagjit Singh and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
