- Tax data correction and self-certification camps held at three places, tax of Rs 2.30 lakh deposited on the spot
Gurugram : Property tax camps were organized at three places on Saturday under a special campaign being run by Municipal Corporation Gurugram to provide tax related information and correction of property tax data to property owners. More than 200 citizens participated in these camps and got their tax related matters resolved.
On Saturday, these camps were organized in Chakkarpur village, Aster Garden and Malibu Town. A total of 105 citizens applied for correction in their property tax data in these camps. At the same time, many citizens received detailed information related to tax through the camp and deposited tax of about Rs 2.30 lakh on the spot. In these camps, not only information related to tax was given, but information related to drinking water supply connection was also provided to the citizens, so that they can get a solution to their water connection related issues.
Municipal Corporation Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya said that giving priority to the convenience of the citizens, the corporation is regularly organizing such camps, so that property owners get an opportunity to correct any kind of error in their tax data and complete the process of self-certification easily. He said that the corporation is trying to ensure that more and more citizens take advantage of these camps and keep their property tax matters transparent and correct. Our aim is to provide all the necessary services to the citizens at one place through these camps.
