New Delhi : The monsoon session of Parliament is going to start on Monday , July 21 . A day before this, on Sunday July 20 , the government called an all-party meeting, in which the opposition made it clear that the upcoming monsoon session could be quite uproarious. By the way, during this meeting, the opposition mentioned many issues. Among these, issues like Pahalgam terrorist attack, US President Donald Trump’s statement on stopping Operation Sindoor, criticism of foreign policy and controversy over the SIR process in Bihar were prominent.
During the meeting, different political parties made it clear that their demand is that during this session, information about the Pahalgam terrorist attack should be placed before the House by the government. It should also be told what action has been taken in this matter so far and why the terrorists involved in the attack could not be caught.
Government should answer about intelligence failure
During the meeting, Samajwadi Party MP Prof. Ram Gopal Yadav, referring to the intelligence lapse on the part of LG Manoj Sinha, said that when the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir has already said in his statement that the intelligence failure is clear in the attack that took place in Pahalgam, then the government should clear the picture in the House on this issue.
Debate on stopping ‘Operation Sindoor’
Along with this, the opposition is also demanding clarification from the government on the statement given by US President Donald Trump on stopping ‘Operation Sindoor’. MPs of other political parties including Samajwadi Party and Aam Aadmi Party, referring to the claim of the US President, asked what is the truth of what the US President is repeatedly saying about stopping the war?
During the all-party meeting, the opposition MPs have also made it clear that during the upcoming monsoon session, they will also seek answers from the government on the foreign policy of the Modi government. During the meeting, the opposition MPs said that due to lack of international support on Operation Sindoor and Pahalgam attack, the foreign policy proves to be unsuccessful.
