-Volunteer training, technical empowerment and security awareness will be given a new dimension
Gurugram : Gurugram Civil Defence has got new leadership. Shrishti has taken charge as Deputy Controller and has pledged to give new energy and vision to the organization. Till now, Sub-Divisional Officer Paramjeet was holding the responsibility of this post, during whose tenure Civil Defence got strengthened by the successful conduct of many important operations like Operation Sindoor.
After taking charge, Shrishti said that Civil Defence is not limited to disaster management only, but it is an institution that strengthens the culture of security, service and cooperation in the society. Its role becomes even more important in a smart and industrial city like Gurugram.
She said that her priorities will focus on promoting community disaster awareness campaigns, organizing security training programs in schools and colleges, and conducting special workshops for women and senior citizens. Along with this, he will pay special attention to efforts to strengthen the digital information system and provide quick and effective assistance through modern technologies.
Srishti has previously served as Deputy Controller in Civil Defense Gurugram. Her experience is expected to give new direction to the disaster response system, training of volunteers and departmental coordination.
Volunteers, wardens and officers have welcomed Srishti and expressed confidence that under her leadership the organization will become more effective, dynamic and people-centric.
