-Special help desk to be set up in District Court Gurugram on July 12 – Quick disposal through Lok Adalat
Gurugram : The National Lok Adalat is being organized by the District Legal Services Authority, Gurugram on July 12 in the District Court premises. This event is being organized as per the guidelines of Chandra Shekhar, District and Sessions Judge and Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Gurugram.
Giving information in this regard, Rajat Verma, Chief Judicial Magistrate and Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Gurugram said that a special help desk has been set up in collaboration with the traffic police to further simplify the settlement of traffic challan related cases in the Lok Adalat. This help desk has been set up at the Mediation Center located near Gate No. 2 of the court.
Rajat Verma said that citizens can see the challan details of their vehicle by visiting the website echallan.parivahan.gov.in. For challan payment, citizens will have to reach the help desk with their driving license, one copy of all documents related to the vehicle and identity card. From there, they will be informed of the relevant ROD number, so that they can go to the designated court and pay their challan. This service is free.
If a citizen does not know his challan, he should go to the help desk with the vehicle number only – the help personnel present there will provide him complete information about the challan.
