New Delhi : BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that yesterday, former Deputy Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, who failed in class 9, was saying that he will throw the Waqf Amendment Act passed by the Indian Parliament into the dustbin. He said that Maulana Tejashwi Yadav, the Namazwadi and messiah of appeasement, tell us whether you have ever read the Constitution or have you ever put its basic spirit into practice?
BJP leader was addressing a press conference in party head quarter. He said that “I want to ask Tejashwi Yadav — has he even read the Constitution? Does he understand that the laws passed by Parliament and given assent by the Honourable President are binding on the entire nation? ”
He asked a question that ” Can a state simply throw a law made by the central government into the dustbin? Does any state have such authority in a democracy governed by the Constitution? ”
He said that those who claim to be ‘Samajwadi’ in Bihar are, in reality, ‘Namaazwadi’. They neither respect the Constitution nor believe in it. Their mindset leans towards Sharia law. On the other hand, PM Modi’s vision is to uplift backward communities, tribals, and women. It won’t be wrong to say that RJD and Tejashwi Yadav stand against this empowerment.
BJP spokesperson gaurav Bhatia said that while RJD talks about Sharia, BJP stands firmly with the Constitution. Their understanding is that only a particular religion will be empowered whereas the thinking of respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is that there should be empowerment of Dalits, women and backward sections of society.
He said that in yesterday’s press conference, BJP had raised the issue with great intensity that those who call themselves socialists in Bihar, their real face is Namazwadi. These Namazwadis do not want Baba Saheb’s constitution nor do they respect the constitution. They only want Sharia law, they want Halala.
BJP leader said that it won’t be wrong to say that if anyone wants to witness Jungle Raj, just look at the kind of governance led by Lalu Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, and the RJD. In Jungle Raj, the first casualty is the Constitution and the rule of law and that’s exactly what Tejashwi Yadav is doing even while sitting in the Opposition. Elections haven’t even been announced yet, but Lalu Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, and the RJD are already neck-deep in divisive, communal politics.
He said that the law which was passed in the Parliament was approved by the President. How can the government of a state throw it in the dustbin? This matter is pending in the Supreme Court. The Hon’ble Supreme Court has reserved it for interim order. So why is your attitude so chaotic, Tejashwi Yadav ji? Why are you contemptuous of the Supreme Court? When the decision of the Supreme Court has not come yet, how are you saying that this law is unconstitutional.
