-Municipal Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya gave strict instructions to the officials regarding the resolution of public complaints
– Timely resolution of problems, update on the portal and action to remove encroachment will be priority
Gurugram : Municipal Corporation Gurugram Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya issued clear guidelines regarding the resolution of public complaints in a review meeting held with the officials on Tuesday. He said that the complaints of the public should be resolved with full seriousness and promptness. He instructed the officials that every problem can be resolved, provided it is resolved with the right process and dedication. In the meeting, complaints received through GMDA ICCC, PM Window, CM Window, Sameer Portal, SMGT, Swachh City Portal and other means were reviewed.
Problems should be resolved in a timely manner and updated on the portal
The Municipal Commissioner said that the Municipal Corporation has got the responsibility to resolve the problems of the public, which should be carried out without any negligence. He also clarified that the information of the complaints which have been resolved should be updated immediately on the concerned portal. This will not only maintain transparency, but will also strengthen the public’s trust in the corporation administration. The responsibility of monitoring this work has been entrusted to the Joint Commissioner and Chief Engineer.
Strict action will be taken on encroachment and illegal construction
In the meeting, the Municipal Commissioner also gave instructions to make the city’s roads, footpaths, markets and public places encroachment free. He said that due to encroachment, common citizens, especially drivers and pedestrians, face a lot of trouble. Also, it is a matter of concern from the security point of view. Therefore, effective action will be taken on encroachment and illegal construction.
Give priority to complaints of Jan Samvad and Samadhan camps
The Municipal Commissioner told the officials that the complaints received through Jan Samvad, Samadhan Camp, SMGT and CM Window should be resolved on priority basis. This will improve both the efficiency of the administration and the satisfaction of the citizens.
Additional Municipal Commissioner Yash Jaluka and Ravindra Yadav, Joint Commissioner Dr. Naresh Kumar, Vishal Kumar, Dr. Jaiveer Yadav and Sumit Kumar, Chief Engineer Vijay Dhaka, Chief Town Planner Sanjeev Maan, DTP Siddharth Khandelwal, CPO Mahendra Singh along with Executive Engineers and Zonal Taxation Officers were present in the meeting.
