Gurugram : Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam will resolve the billing related problems of its consumers soon. Secretary, Haryana Energy Department and Managing Director, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN), A. Sreenivas held a meeting with the Chief Engineers and all the Superintending Engineers of the Operation Circle in this regard.
A. Sreenivas directed that the billing related problems of all consumers should be resolved in mission mode. While resolving the problems related to meter reading in urban and rural areas, the problems faced by the meter reading agency also have to be resolved.
The Managing Director also directed the representatives of meter reading agencies HESL, Power Tech and Vision Infotech to take meter readings of every consumer. He said that 100 percent target of meter reading of LT and HT consumers of electricity has to be achieved and problems related to billing of consumers have to be resolved quickly.
He clearly told everyone that there should be no laxity in the reading work and the consumer has to correct the billing according to the reading of his meter. There should not be any complaint of any kind of discrepancy in the bills in this regard.
He said that all the concerned engineers and sub-divisional officers should correct the reading and billing. The information regarding meter change and connection issuance should be uploaded online quickly to all the consumers in a convenient manner so that the consumers do not face any kind of problem.
DHBVN Director (Project) Vinita Singh, Chief Engineer Planning and Design Atul Pasrija, Chief Engineer Operation Delhi VK Agarwal, Chief Engineer Commercial Anil Sharma, Superintending Engineers of all Operation Circles and other concerned officials were present in this meeting.
