Gurugram : A three kilometer run will be organized in Gurugram district on June 1. This run will start from Laser Valley parking at 6 am on June 1 and will end here via the fixed route. A meeting of officials regarding the preparations for the run was held on Friday evening in the conference hall located in the Mini Secretariat under the chairmanship of DC Ajay Kumar. DC Ajay Kumar said that marathons, runs and other activities have been organized in Gurugram city earlier also for some social purpose.
In such a situation, this time the event will also be organized successfully. He told that representatives of active runners groups, RWA, players, youth, urban local bodies and Panchayati Raj institutions will be invited to participate in this event. Like the marathon organized earlier, this run will be started from Laser Valley parking.
He told that thousands of district residents will participate in this run. In such a situation, the concerned departments should discharge their responsibilities regarding arrangements of drinking water, refreshment, cleanliness, running route, traffic management etc. according to the number of participants. He told that the participants of this run will also be given incentives. He gave necessary guidelines to the traffic police officers regarding marking the route of the run.
On this occasion, DCP Traffic Gaurav Rajpurohit, Badshahpur SDM Ankit Chaukse, District Council CEO Jagnivas, Gurugram SDM Paramjit Chahal, CTM Ravindra Kumar, Manesar SDM Darshan Yadav, ACUT Aditi Singhania, HIPA Joint Director Jyoti Nagpal, ACP Traffic Virendra Singh, CSR Trust Haryana Additional CEO Gaurav Singh, District Education Officer Indu Bokan and BJP District President Sarvpriya Tyagi, CSR Trust Haryana former CEO Bodhraj Sikri and other officers and dignitaries were present.
