New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi today also reviewed the action taken against Pakistan under ‘Operation Sindoor’. He chaired an important meeting 7, Lok Kalyan Marg , New Delhi in this regard on Saturday. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan, Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi and Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi were present in this meeting.
It is noteworthy that India has foiled Pakistan’s drone and long range missile attacks. While India has also caused heavy damage by attacking many air bases of Pakistan. It is understood that Prime Minister Modi was given full information about the attack on the Indian military base by Pakistan and India’s retaliatory action. Along with this, he was also made aware of the military preparations to deal with the possible threat.
The Prime Minister also held a meeting with senior army officials and security advisor on Friday in which Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was also present. Today is the second and important meeting of Prime Minister Modi with the Army Chiefs and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in the last 24 hours.
Earlier in a joint press conference, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Colonel Saifia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh had given information about the action taken under Operation Sindoor on the night of 8 and 9 May.
