Chandigarh : Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij responding to media queries about India’s military attacks on terrorist bases in Pakistan as part of Operation Sindoor following the Pahalgam terror attack, saying that “Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji had announced from day one that every perpetrator of the Pahalgam attack would be avenged and punished — and that has now been accomplished.” He further added that “Today, several terrorist bases in Pakistan have been attacked. The terrorists being nurtured under Pakistan’s protection will be hit so severely that they won’t be able to carry out such actions again.” Referring to past military wars, he said that “We have seen all three wars with Pakistan. Pakistan cannot stand against us.”
Sh. Vij was responding today to questions from media personnel regarding the attacks on terrorist bases in Pakistan carried out by the Indian Army through Operation Sindoor in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack.
“India’s army ranks among the world’s strongest and most capable forces” – Vij
When asked about staying alert, he responded that “One has to remain alert. India’s army is among the strongest in the world. Little Pakistan keeps chanting that they have nuclear bombs. But we are your fathers — but we will decide whether to let you fly or not?.”
“We also have nuclear bombs, it is not for playing” – Vij
He said that “We too have nuclear bombs — not for playing, but to settle scores. However, our policy is that we do not strike first.” He quoted a Hindi proverb:
“Jo toke kaanta boe,
toke boe to bhaala,
Woh banda bhi yaad karega,
kis se pada hai paala.”
“Pakistan has no strength — it’s all empty noise” – Vij
He said that “Pakistan has no real strength — it’s all just drum-beating and fearmongering. It has lost all three wars with us: in 1965, 1971, and again in the 1999 Kargil War. We have seen all three wars — Pakistan cannot compete with us, he added.”
