Horticulture Department is Giving up to 35 Percent Subsidy for Ripening Chamber

Gurugram : The state government has implemented a special subsidy scheme to expand the field of horticulture. Under this, subsidy amount is being given at the rate of Rs 35,000 per metric ton on the basis of the cost of Rs 1 lakh per metric ton on ripening chamber (banana ripening warehouse).

District Horticulture Officer Neha Yadav, while giving the above information, said that under the scheme, incentive amount of up to Rs 1 crore 5 lakh is given per beneficiary on a maximum of 300 metric tonnes. To avail the benefits of the horticulture scheme, it is mandatory to register on the departmental portal https://hortnet.gov.in and upload complete documents on the portal.

Priority will be given on first come first serve basis through online registration.
