Mayor Rajrani Malhotra chairs special meeting of MCG Zone-1, Civic Issues Discussed

Gurugram : A special meeting of Zone-1 area of ​​Municipal Corporation Gurugram was organized today under the chairmanship of Mayor Rajrani Malhotra. All the ward councilors of Zone-1 including Municipal Commissioner Ashok Kumar Garg, senior officers and engineers were present in the meeting.

Points like making ID cards of councilors, setting up offices, installing sign boards and availability of staff were discussed seriously in the meeting. The councilors also raised problems related to their respective wards, which included cleaning of sewer and drainage, repair of roads, cooperation in property tax camp, rainwater harvesting, removal of encroachment, cleaning system, garbage management, pruning of trees and repair of street lights.

Mayor Rajrani Malhotra instructed the officials to make all the roads of the city pothole-free before the rains. At the same time, Municipal Commissioner Ashok Kumar Garg informed that 120 km model roads will be built by the Municipal Corporation, for which the councilors should identify suitable roads in their respective wards. Makers and checkers will be deployed on the spot for quick resolution of people’s complaints in the Property Tax Self Certification Camp.

Councilors Kuldeep Yadav, Avnish Raghav, Mahavir, Pratham Chandra Vashisht, Bharti Harsana, Vikramjit Singh, Neha Devatwal and Jyoti Sumit Jaildar, Additional Municipal Commissioner Dr. Balpreet Singh, Mahavir Prasad, Joint Commissioner Vishal Kumar, Chief Engineer Vijay Dhaka and many other senior officers and engineers were present in the meeting.
