Gurgaon : Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh held an important meeting with Municipal Corporation officials at Swatantrata Senani District Council Bhawan located in Civil Lines on Saturday. In the meeting, there was a serious discussion about the solution of public problems and complaints. The minister instructed the officials that not only public complaints should be taken seriously, but their timely and quick solution should also be ensured. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ashok Kumar Garg, Additional Commissioner YS Gupta, Chief Engineer Vijay Dhaka along with Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers were also present in the meeting.
Show activeness in the field and give priority to public communication
The Industry and Commerce Minister instructed the officials to increase activeness on the ground, give priority to public communication. He said that public satisfaction is the priority of the government and no negligence will be tolerated in this direction. He especially asked to pay attention to basic facilities like cleanliness, drainage, sewerage, road repair and street lights. The voice of change should be heard from the public in the next two months, officials should work keeping this in mind. If anyone faces any problem, then inform about it.
Increase cleanliness by making government land encroachment free
The Industry Minister also instructed the officials to make the roads including green belt, footpath encroachment free and said that by removing encroachment on government land, ensure cleanliness there. Regarding the Polythene Free Gurugram campaign, he said that all of you have the right to take action against polythene and single use plastic banned by the government, so continue regular action.
In the meeting, Municipal Commissioner Ashok Kumar Garg assured the Industry and Commerce Minister that as per his guidelines, work will be done towards making Gurugram clean, beautiful and better. Additional Municipal Commissioner YS Gupta welcomed and thanked the Industries Minister.
