Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini Inaugurated DIPR Exhibition on Govt Schemes

Chandigarh /New Delhi : Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini inaugurated the exhibition organized at Hisar Airport . On this Occasion He said that the state of Haryana has established a new dimension of development. The exhibition organized by the Department of Information, Public Relations and Language accurately describes the story of the development of the state. he opined that through the exhibition, people are also getting information about the public welfare schemes, projects and achievements of the government.

The Chief Minister said that the main schemes and development figures of the state government have been included in this exhibition. He said that the pace of development of any state can be estimated from the per capita income. In Haryana, the per capita income in 2024-25 is 3 lakh 53 thousand 181, which was only 1 lakh 37 thousand 770 in the year 2014. Similarly, if we talk about exports, then according to the data of 2023-24, exports worth Rs 2 lakh 75 thousand 245 crores have been done, which was only Rs 68 thousand 32 crores in the year 2014.

He said that the state is touching new dimensions of development in every field. The government is giving priority to development works according to the demand of the people and their convenience. He said that in the year 2014, there were only 6 medical colleges in the state. Now their number has been increased to 15. In the last ten years, 9 new medical colleges have been built in Haryana. In the coming years, medical colleges will be built in every district of the state. Similarly, in 2014, the number of universities was 43, which has now become 58. In the last ten years, 15 new universities have been established. Government colleges have also increased from 105 to 185. In the last ten years, 8 new government colleges have been built every year.

The Chief Minister said that the government is providing facilities to the people through various schemes in the state. The benefits of these schemes have also been increased significantly. Changes have also been made in the eligibility to provide benefits to more and more people. He said that the annual income of BPL family has been increased from Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand to Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand in the year 2014. The natural disaster crop compensation amount has been increased from Rs 10 thousand to Rs 15 thousand. Now if someone dies due to natural disaster, then his family is given assistance of Rs 4 lakh.

He said that information about all the schemes being run by the government including applications etc. is also available online. The government is also providing facilities to the people through technology so that no one needs to visit government offices. He said that apart from the exhibition, information about schemes etc. can also be obtained through online medium. Director General of Information, Public Relations and Language Department KM Pandurang explained the Chief Minister in detail about the exhibition.

Cabinet Ministers Ranbir Gangwa and Krishna Bedi and BJP State President Mohanlal Badoli were also present on the occasion.
