Meeting to discuss draft IT/ITES Policy and Electronics Toy Manufacturing Policy 2025 held in Gurugram

Gurugram, March 22 : The Department of Industries and Commerce, Haryana today organized a consultation meeting with stakeholders on Haryana Draft IT/ITES Policy 2025 and Draft Haryana Electronic Toy Manufacturing Policy 2025 under the guidance of Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh in Gurugram. The meeting was held at PWD Rest House under the chairmanship of D. Suresh, Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department. HSIDC MD Sushil Sarwan and Chief Technology Officer, Industries and Commerce Department Nitin Bansal, Deputy Director Brijpal were also present in the meeting.

In the meeting, Principal Secretary D. Suresh appreciated the contribution of the industry in the economic transformation of the country and underlined the vision of the government to establish the state of Haryana as a leading global hub for IT/ITES sector and electronic toy sector. Which includes world-class infrastructure equipped with high potential talent to promote innovation and sustainable economic growth of the state. While highlighting the objectives of the consultation meeting, he said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, the Haryana Government is committed to address the concerns of the industry in the state, provide them a better environment for business, promote economic development through various meaningful initiatives and provide an enabling business ecosystem. He said that the Haryana Government is fully committed at various levels to promote the vision of “Make in Haryana”.

In the meeting, Chief Technology Officer Nitin Bansal highlighted the initiatives of the Government towards promoting an industry-driven policy ecosystem, which ensures economic growth, global competitiveness and a thriving business environment. During this meeting, the stakeholders discussed key aspects of the policy, shared their key industry priorities, infrastructure needs and specific regulatory support required for the advancement of their sector. The stakeholders wholeheartedly praised the visionary leadership and proactive initiatives of the Haryana Government and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the Government to engage with the industry to ensure that policies are made in accordance with the needs of the industry. The meeting was attended by key industry leaders such as Cisco, Oracle, Ericsson, Palo Alto, Autodesk and representatives from several leading industry associations such as NASSCOM, IESA, Invest India and Toys Association of India.
