Speaking to the media during the ongoing Budget Session of the Haryana Assembly, Sh. Congress played with the future of children – Vij
Responding to a question on the 2008 recruitment issue, Sh. Vij said that “Hooda Sahib cunningly hid key portions of the Hon’ble High Court judgment, but our Chief Minister read out the full decision, which clearly showed that the court had serious concerns. A committee has also been formed on this issue. There was corruption in the process, talent was ignored, and injustice was done. Since this concerns the future of children, this matter will keep coming up. Congress played with the future of children during its rule, and it is our duty to keep raising this issue, he added.”
If the case has been decided, it can definitely be raised – Vij
Responding to another question, Vij said that “Despite being a lawyer, Hooda Sahib does not seem to understand that while a pending case cannot be discussed, a case that has been decided can certainly be raised. Hooda did not mention anywhere in his statement that the case has been dismissed. So why can’t it be discussed?”
“The opposition doesn’t even know what to ask” – Vij
When asked about the opposition’s claim that the government is not answering their questions properly during the Budget Session, Vij replied that “On the contrary, the real issue is that the opposition has come unprepared. They have no issues to discuss; they are merely acting as readers. They just read out statements without understanding what they are asking or what they should be asking.”
“I have more courage than a 45-year-old, so my age is 45” – Vij
During a verbal exchange in the Assembly over his age, Vij said that “Hooda Sahib questions my age in the Assembly daily, so I thought I should finally respond. I told him that age is not measured by date of birth. I even raced with a 45-year-old and proved that I have more courage than him. So, my age is 45.”
