DTP Starts Demolition Drive Against All Unauthorised Construction in Bhondsi Area 2GURUGRAM : Today’s demolition drive was carried specially in the revenue estate of village Bhondsi, on the basis of complaints through common man and CM Window. DTP Enforcement,Gurugram took strong Cognizance and decided to start a demolition drive against all unauthorised construction. The department is firm to discourage any unauthorized colonisation specifically in Bhondsi and Naya Gaon Area. As a reaction to this decision, the DTP(Enforcement) Gurugram has chopped out a special demolition drive for continuous two days in this area on 18 & 19 August.

The demolition was carried out on Saturday 19th August, despite of heavy resistance by the local residents in these unauthorised colonies and also  continuous heavy rains since morning .DTP Starts Demolition Drive Against All Unauthorised Construction in Bhondsi Area 3

During these demolition drives, the freshly carved out road network in 3 newly mushroomed unauthorised colonies have been dismantled. It is said that notices have been also issued to 4 others newly detected unauthorised colonies and action against these colonies shall be taken up in the forthcoming drives. Approximately 30 acres of unauthorised land has been restored to its original state i.e agricultural.

Whereas, approximately 20-25 Under construction houses, 130 DPC, 70 boundary walls along road network were demolished.

As per DTP Enforcement,Gurugram these drives shall continue on weekly basis to curb and control the most affected area due to unauthorised colonisation i.e Bhondsi and no fresh construction would be allowed in any of the developed unauthorised colonies.

DTP Starts Demolition Drive Against All Unauthorised Construction in Bhondsi Area 4Whereas, the action against already raised constructions is also on the cards and detailed survey is being carried out by this office and the help of revenue authorities – Tehsildar, Sohna is also been taken up to identify the alleged offenders. As per DTP Enforcement Rajender T. Sharma, the revenue authorities have apprised him that the sale deeds in these colonies have not been executed by them and the ownership is on the basis of GPA from other states.

He warned that general public must not purchase any land/houses in the unauthorized colonies and without taking the NOC from the DTP (Enforcement), Gurugram for any sale/purchase. The District Administration will also take strict legal action against the people/builder/property dealers who promote unauthorized colonization.
