Senators Mark Warner, John Cornyn and Steve Daines attend event celebrating community’s contributions to American society
New Delhi/Washington, D.C.: Indian Ambassador to the United States Vinay Mohan Kwatra hosted a reception alongside US Senators Mark Warner and John Cornyn to celebrate the contributions and achievements of the Indian-American community.
Senator Steve Daines also attended the event, which brought together members of the community and political leaders to recognise the role of Indian Americans in strengthening the people-to-people ties between India and the United States.
Addressing the gathering, the Indian Embassy highlighted the significant contributions of Indian Americans across communities in the US, including their work in business, public service, technology, education, healthcare and philanthropy.
The event underscored how the experiences, achievements and community connections of Indian Americans continue to contribute to the enduring people-to-people relationship between India and the United States.
The reception also provided an opportunity to acknowledge the Indian-American community’s role in building bridges between the two countries and deepening mutual understanding at the societal level.
