Srinagar/Leh: US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor concluded his visit to Srinagar and Leh this week, combining diplomatic engagements with an exploration of the region’s cultural heritage.
During his stay in Srinagar, Ambassador Gor met Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and held discussions on strengthening India-US relations and expanding bilateral engagement.
The US envoy later travelled to Leh, where he experienced the distinctive culture, traditions and heritage of Ladakh. His visit provided an opportunity for cultural interaction alongside the broader diplomatic engagement between India and the United States.
The Srinagar-Leh visit reflects the growing scope of India-US partnership, with dialogue and people-to-people and cultural connections forming an important part of the relationship.
