New Delhi : The ongoing conflict involving Iran and the US-Israel axis has entered its second month, with tensions continuing to escalate despite conflicting narratives from both sides.

While US President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that Iran’s capabilities have been significantly weakened, Iranian forces have reportedly intensified their attacks, raising concerns over regional stability.

Amid rising tensions, particular focus has turned to the strategic Strait of Hormuz. Addressing these concerns, the Iranian Embassy reassured Indian citizens that they are safe, stating that the future of the Strait of Hormuz will be determined solely by Iran and Oman, and that there is no cause for alarm.

On the ground, officials in Tehran reported significant civilian impact. According to city authorities, nearly 1,869 families have been affected by housing damage, with around 1,245 families relocated to residential complexes. Repairs have already begun on more than 4,000 housing units, with support from municipal authorities.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Ministry responded strongly to recent remarks by President Trump, who had warned of potential attacks on Iranian power infrastructure if a settlement is not reached within weeks. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei rejected the warning, stating that Iran would not accept a recurring cycle of conflict, negotiations, and ceasefires.

He described the ongoing situation as catastrophic, warning that its consequences extend beyond Iran and could impact the broader region and global stability.
