New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday paid heartfelt tributes to legendary freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar on the occasion of Shaheed Diwas.
He noted that the supreme sacrifice made by these young revolutionaries continues to hold a permanent place in the nation’s collective consciousness. Emphasizing their courage and unwavering dedication, the Prime Minister said that despite their youth, they demonstrated remarkable resolve in the fight for India’s independence.
Shri Modi further remarked that the trio fearlessly challenged colonial oppression and embraced martyrdom with conviction, prioritizing the nation above all else. He added that their enduring ideals of justice, patriotism, and fearless resistance remain a source of inspiration for generations of Indians.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister expressed deep respect for the “brave sons of Bharat Mata,” stating that their legacy continues to inspire and energize the spirit of the nation.
