– ADC Vatsal Vashisht briefed officials on preparations for Namo Yuva Run
Gurugram : Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Vatsal Vashisht stated that the Namo Yuva Run will be held in Gurugram district on September 21 as part of a special campaign being conducted in Haryana from September 17 to October 2. Union Minister for Power, Housing and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal, will flag off the 5km run. Approximately 10,000 participants are expected to take part in the Namo Yuva Run, which will start from Laser Valley Parking. He was addressing a meeting of officials regarding the preparations for the Namo Yuva Run in the conference hall of the Mini Secretariat on Friday evening.
The ADC informed that the Namo Yuva Run will be organized under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar, in coordination with the Skill Development and Industrial Training Department, Haryana. All departments have been assigned specific responsibilities for the event. He stated that departmental duties have been assigned for various aspects of the event, including the route, parking, medical support for participants, road repairs, venue decoration, and arrangements for drinking water and refreshments. He emphasized that all officials should work diligently to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.
He further informed that the traffic police have finalized the route for the Namo Yuva Run. The run will start from Laser Valley Parking, proceed via the underpass at Millennium City Metro Station, take a U-turn at the next exit, and return to the starting point. All necessary arrangements for traffic control and security along the route will be in place. The ADC provided detailed information regarding the responsibilities of each department. He stated that all preparations at the venue will be completed by evening of September 20. Those present at the event included Ravinder Yadav, Additional Commissioner of the Gurugram Municipal Corporation; Bharat Bhushan Gogia, General Manager of Haryana Roadways; Parmjit Chahal, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Gurugram; Sanjeev Singla, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Badshapur; Sapna Yadav, City Transport Manager; Ravinder Kumar, Principal of the Government ITI; Jitpal Roj, Jagdish Ahlawat, AE/O; Mohit Sharma from Civil Defense; and BJP leader Aditya Dhandhakar.
