New Delhi : Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, while making a series of announcements for the Mahendragarh Assembly constituency, declared that 1,450 tubewell connections will be issued within the next three months to farmers who have already deposited payments. He further urged farmers who applied for connections up to 2023 to deposit the requisite amount at the earliest, so that their connections will also be issued soon.
The Chief Minister made these announcements while addressing a public meeting in Mahendragarh today.
Sh Saini announced the establishment of a new grain market in Mahendragarh Assembly. He also stated that a cow sanctuary will be established in any village where suitable land is available. In addition, upon availability of land in the villages of Usmapur, Barda, Khatod or Jadwa, a veterinary dispensary and hospital will be constructed. For this purpose, he announced Rs 1.51 crore. Moreover, the existing animal dispensary in Degrota village will be upgraded to a veterinary hospital at a cost of Rs 40 lakh. To establish a government VLDA college, he said that feasibility of the same in the region will also be examined.
The Chief Minister announced that a new electricity sub-division will be established in Akoda village. Furthermore, the high-tension power lines running over residential areas will be removed, for which Rs 3 crore has been announced.
He also announced to set up two 33 KV substations, one in Dalanwas village and another in Mahendragarh city. Power supply will be provided to 56 colonies in the Mahendragarh Assembly segment. In Mahendragarh town, LT cables will replace existing LT lines, and the non-functional 33 KV line between Mahendragarh and Narnaul will be removed. In terms of healthcare infrastructure, the Chief Minister announced the construction of a Primary Health Centre in the Khatod village panchayat area, subject to land availability.
For irrigation, he announced Rs 6.60 crore for the reconstruction of four minors: Nihalwas, Jairpur, Sisoth, and Khaira. Road infrastructure will also receive a significant boost, with 180 km of roads to be strengthened. Special repair works will be carried out on 7 roads totaling 36.85 km by June. An additional 16 roads, spanning 78.71 km, will be strengthened under special repair, with Rs 44.53 crore.
He also announced Rs 5.38 crore for the repair and renovation of schools in 18 villages of Mahendragarh assembly. Furthermore, a sub-depot of Haryana Roadways will be established in Mahendergarh. He also announced Rs 5 crore for development works in villages in the Mahendragarh Assembly constituency.
On this occasion, in a major boost to infrastructure, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 30 development projects worth Rs 152.87 crore. This includes the inauguration of 15 projects amounting to Rs 81.49 crore and the foundation laying of 15 projects worth Rs 71.39 crore.

The Chief Minister said that this land is a land of brave soldiers. Veerbhoomi Naseebpur, located just 20 km from here, holds a place of pride in the history of India’s first freedom struggle. In 1857, when the British sought to tighten their oppressive grip over India, it was the valiant Rao Tularam from this very land who shook the foundations of British rule. He said that the sons of this soil have consistently brought glory to both the nation and the state be it during the freedom movement or the wars of 1962, 1965, 1971, and 1999. Through Operation Sindoor, our brave soldiers have demonstrated to the world that India will not tolerate any provocation, India will respond with strength and resolve.

Detailing the region’s developmental progress, the Chief Minister shared that since 2014, development projects worth Rs1,570 crore have been carried out in the Mahendragarh Assembly constituency. In contrast, during the 10-year tenure of the previous Congress government, only Rs 700 crore worth of development work was done. Our double-engine government has delivered more than double the development. Now, with a triple-engine government in place, we will accelerate progress at three times the speed. He reaffirmed his commitment, stating, “I will leave no stone unturned to ensure the holistic development of Mahendragarh.”
Developed Haryana will lead the way in building a Developed India by 2047
The chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reiterated the vision of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi to build a ‘Developed India’ by 2047, asserting that Haryana will serve as a key engine of this national transformation. He expressed gratitude to the people of Haryana for giving the government a third consecutive mandate. Of the promises made in our election manifesto, 22 have already been fulfilled, and work is actively underway on 90 others. “Our manifesto is not just a declaration, but a solemn promise to the people,” he added.
He further said that under the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Modi, we are advancing with clarity of purpose, intent, and policy. Our government has taken several concrete steps toward the all-round development of the state. We are committed to achieving balanced growth across all regions of Haryana. He called upon citizens to unite in taking Haryana to new heights, and in doing so, contribute to the creation of a fully developed India by 2047.

Irrigation and Water Resources Minister, Mrs. Shruti Chaudhary praised the bravery and dedication of the youth from South Haryana, stating that they have always stood guard at the borders and shed their blood to protect the nation. Referring to the recent Pahalgam attack, she said, “Our armed forces has given a fitting response, and every Indian feels proud of their courage and commitment.”
Speaking about development in Haryana, she said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini, the state is witnessing a wave of all-round development. She said that numerous water projects worth crores of rupees have been sanctioned for South Haryana with the Chief Minister’s approval. Highlighting the government’s commitment to ensuring water access to the tail-end of canal systems in the region, she informed that a project worth Rs 13.06 crore has been initiated for the revival of the Dohan and Krishna River. Additionally, water supply projects totaling Rs 55 crore have been launched for 18 villages, including Jadwa, Satnali, Bawana, Kheda, and Khedi.
The Land of South Haryana is the Land of Heroes –Kumari Aarti Singh Rao
Health Minister Kumari Aarti Singh Rao, while addressing a rally, proudly described South Haryana as the “land of heroes,” adding that a large number of the nation’s soldiers hail from this region. She lauded the bravery of Indian armed forces, stating that through Operation Sindoor, terrorist hideouts in Pakistan were successfully destroyed, a feat made possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi. She also expressed gratitude for the overwhelming public support from South Haryana, which has helped the Bharatiya Janata Party form the government in Haryana for the third consecutive term. She said that a government hospital will be constructed in Mahendragarh at the earliest.
Haryana has received a historic mandate under the leadership of Chief Minister –Dharambir Singh
Member of Parliament from Mahendragarh-Bhiwani, Sh Dharambir Singh, hailed the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, stating that Haryana has received a historic mandate due to the Chief Minister’s tireless commitment to public service. He proposed that the Mahendragarh Medical College be named after freedom fighter Rao Tula Ram, in honour of his unparalleled contribution to India’s independence movement. He also said that the Industrial Model Township (IMT), whose foundation was laid six years ago, must now be made operational. He said that all feasible development proposals submitted by Gram Panchayats before the last Assembly elections be implemented promptly to boost rural development.
Mahendragarh MLA Kanwar Singh Yadav thanked the Chief Minister for inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of development projects worth approximately Rs 153 crore in the constituency. He submitted several key proposals to the Chief Minister for the development of Mahendergarh assembly constituency.
MLA Omprakash Yadav, former ministers Rambilas Sharma and Abhay Singh Yadav, among other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
