Women Will Play a Major Role in Making India a Developed Nation by 2047 : Anil Vij

Chandigarh, March 8 : Haryana’s Energy, Transport & Labor Minister, Anil Vij said that women are now walking shoulder to shoulder with men. He emphasized that women will have a significant contribution to achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.

Sh.Vij was speaking at a special event at Khukhrain Bhavan in Ambala, organized to mark International Women’s Day and the first death anniversary of Brahma Kumari Krishna Didi.

He highlighted that International Women’s Day is an occasion to remember and honor women who have made significant contributions to society. He noted with pride that both India’s President and Delhi’s Chief Minister are women. The Haryana government is honoring 35 exceptional women with the Sushma Swaraj Award for their outstanding work in various fields. Additionally, the state government has decided to provide Rs. 2,100 per month to women living below the poverty line.

Brahma Kumari Krishna Didi’s Life Was Dedicated to Spreading Knowledge- Vij

Sh. Anil Vij paid tribute to Brahma Kumari Krishna Didi, acknowledging her lifelong dedication to spreading knowledge. Many people continue to follow the path she showed. He recalled meeting her multiple times and always seeing an expression of peace and happiness on her face, reflecting divine qualities.

Brahma Kumari Centers are Spreading the Message of Peace Across India- Vij

Sh. Vij mentioned that there are over 5,000 Brahma Kumari centers in India, spreading messages of peace and wisdom. He emphasized that giving the gift of knowledge should be a natural inclination for everyone. Sharing a metaphor, he recounted a story about a traveler who found river water sweet but ocean water salty. The ocean explained that the river gives and takes, while the ocean only takes, which makes its water salty. The minister stressed the importance of selfless service, as exemplified by the Brahma Kumaris.

We Remember Those Who Show the Way to Others – Vij

Sh.Vij remarked that people are remembered for the legacy they leave behind. Quoting, “Yajña Drishtam, Tad Nashtam”, meaning “Whatever is visible will eventually perish”, he emphasized that life has a purpose: uniting the soul with the divine. Without the right path, people wander aimlessly, but once they find it, they attain peace.

We Must Control and Discipline Our Mind – Vij

Sh.Vij observed that people’s faces reflect various concerns, often due to attachment, greed, and ego. He stressed that remembering the divine always ensures that one’s actions are automatically fulfilled. He illustrated this with a story of a sage and a genie, where the sage learned that a restless mind can only be calmed by keeping it engaged in devotion to the divine.

One-Pointed Faith Ensures Success- Vij

Sh.Vij recounted an anecdote about a monk who called upon multiple deities for help during a crisis. Since he kept shifting his faith, none of them intervened. The lesson: unwavering faith in a single divine entity ensures divine support.

The Path We Choose Determines Our Salvation- Vij

He explained that “Dharma” consists of three elements: D for Dharan (adoption), R for Rasta (path), and M for Moksha (liberation). A path that fulfills these criteria is the true path. He shared a story of a king who hesitated to cross a river for spiritual initiation. Each time he found an excuse, the saint eventually forced him to cross, symbolizing that the chosen spiritual path leads to salvation.

Quoting Lord Krishna from the Bhagavad Gita, Vij emphasized that suffering comes from identifying with one’s actions. If one recognizes themselves as merely an instrument, divine grace takes care of everything.

The program attended by the Brahma Kumari Punjab Zone In-charge Prem Didi, Uttara Didi, and Brahma Kumari members from Ambala, including Asha Didi, Rani Didi, Neeti Didi, Janaki Didi, and Veena Didi, among other devotees.
