We need to reduce the scarcity of teachers by encouraging shadow teachers out of senior students under earn while you learn scheme, believes VC Goel. He said that digital inequalities have to be addressed for digital inclusion to be pro-student in Bharat as a knowledge economy.
Prof. Goel made stress that Conversion of careless into careful and useless into useful Indian youth is the greatest challenge in the implementation of NEP 2020 with the greatest limitation of overpopulation in Bharat. He suggested that to ensure quality research, we have to encourage the scholars for making an analysis before covid (BC) and after covid (AC) for drawing the policy implications.
Prof. Goel said that the fraternity of teachers deserve to be known as children of Saraswati in the knowledge economy of India where ‘Saraswati’ is equally if not more than ‘Lakshmi is worshipped. He said that to make education relevant, we require street smart teachers (simple, moral, action-oriented, responsive and transparent) with effective leadership qualities.
