36th Indian Engineering Congress – Centenary celebration begins

New Delhi : Union Heavy Industries Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey said that Ram Setu is not false, it was the apt work of the engineers of that era. He lamented it was unfortunate as some people question this logic and refuse to accept. While referring to Institution of Engineers (India)’s assertion, the minister said this was confirmed by the apex organization of the engineers themselves. Some people submit affidavits in the court to prove Ram Setu did not exist, whereas Ram Setu has been in existence since ancient times. He said that engineers have also played an important role in the construction of the ancient city of Dwarka.

Ram Setu not a myth, it was made by engineers : Mahendra Nath Pandey 2On Sunday, he was speaking at the 36th Indian Engineering Congress- Centenary Celebrations organized by Institution of Engineers (India), an organization of India’s top engineers.
