Made Easy School Organises Football Tournament, 300 Students Participated 2Gurugram :  In pursuant to its commitment to broaden and en-lighten the concept of sports among children MADE EASY SCHOOL Bandhwari, Gurugram, hosted a football tournament in its campus which commenced on 8th October 2018 and culminated on 12th October 2018. It was a knockout tournament divided into three age groups (under 10, under 12, under 14) participated by more than three hundred students from all major schools of Gurugram like, Shalom Hills, DPS International, Presidium, Scottish High, Shalom Presidency, Ryan International, Noble High, DPSG Palam Vihar, Royal Oak International School, DPS 84, G.D Goenka, Suncity School etc.

 

The ceremonious inauguration of the tournament was done by the first woman Arjuna Awardee in Judo – Poonam Chopra and on the day of the final play the prizes were distributed by none other than the famous football player Bikramjit Singh who is a mid fielder of national repute and is currently playing for Delhi Dynamos club in the Indian Super League (ISL). He has been the major part of two Champion Teams of ISL in two different years. Bikramjit Singh felicitated the wining team, the runners up, the best coach, referees and best players of different positions and encouraged the students with his motivating words. It emerged as a dazzling event that the students of all these schools were looking-up-to with high expectations while witnessing their favourite team lift the cup.

 

For the past few days as this tournament progressed it brought about a cohesion between different groups of students; the playing fields transformed into a place of interaction in which every child irrespective of their role has discovered a new bond of team-spirit. This tournament has aptly provided the widely acknowledged exposure to sports at the grass root level which not only helped children gain physical fitness and stamina but also has played its part in increasing their level of concentration and self-confidence.

 

This tournament has gifted all the students some beautiful moments to cherish for their entire life and on the day of the finals when among a thundering applause the winning team lifted the trophy it marked the beginning of a new era in history of organised football tournament at the grass root level in Gurugram. In the days to come this unique effort by MADE EASY SCHOOL will emerge as a major platform for showcasing the talents of the young guns which will encourage confidence and boost an appetite for achievement in them.
