New Delhi/Washington: US Ambassador Sergio Gore hosted a high-level gathering of senior American and Indian defence officials at Roosevelt House, highlighting the growing momentum in the US-India Major Defense Partnership.
In a post on social media, Ambassador Gore said it was a “true pleasure” to host Admiral Samuel J. Paparo, Commander of the US Indo-Pacific Command (USPACOM), Governor Gianforte, Chief of Defence Staff General N. S. Raja Subramani, Chief of the Army Staff General Dhiraj Seth, and other senior Indian defence officials.
The meeting brought together senior military leadership from both countries at a time when defence and security cooperation between India and the United States continues to expand.
Ambassador Gore said Admiral Paparo’s visit underscored the growing strength of the U.S.-India Major Defense Partnership, reflecting the importance attached by both countries to closer strategic and defence engagement. 🇺🇸🇮🇳
