Students visiting Delhi under National Integration Tour; President encourages them to dream big and contribute to nation-building
New Delhi : Groups of students from Gangtok in Sikkim and Lhou Gompa in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan during their visit to the President’s Estate.
The students were in Delhi as part of the National Integration Tour, aimed at providing young people an opportunity to experience different parts of the country and gain a broader understanding of India’s diverse cultural and social landscape.
Interacting with the students, President Murmu encouraged them to dream big and pursue their goals with determination. She urged the young participants to make the most of the opportunities available to them and play an active role in the country’s development.
The President also emphasised the importance of young people contributing to the progress and development of the nation, inspiring them to carry forward a spirit of unity and responsibility.
The interaction at Rashtrapati Bhavan provided the students with an opportunity to engage directly with the President and experience an important institution at the heart of India’s democratic system.
The National Integration Tour seeks to promote greater understanding, interaction and a sense of national unity among young people from different regions of the country.
