New Delhi: Indian Navy warship INS Trishul has arrived at Toulon, France, to participate in the 24th edition of the bilateral maritime exercise ‘VARUNA’ between the Indian Navy and the French Navy.
The exercise will feature a range of professional engagements both at harbour and at sea, including cross-deck visits, operational interactions and sporting activities involving personnel from the two navies.
The engagements are aimed at providing both sides with opportunities to exchange operational experiences and best practices, strengthen interoperability and deepen mutual understanding between the Indian and French navies.
Exercise VARUNA remains an important platform for enhancing India-France maritime cooperation and strengthening coordination between the two naval forces.
