Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary hosted a warm interaction with Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra, actress Tamannaah Bhatia, renowned producer Ektaa Kapoor and the cast of the upcoming film ‘The Vvaan: Force of the Forest’ at Lok Sevak Awas.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister interacted with the film team and discussed the movie’s connection with Bihar’s folklore and cultural heritage.

The Vvaan: Force of the Forest is inspired by a 400-year-old folklore associated with the Van Devi Temple in Bihta, near Patna. The film combines elements of folklore, fantasy, mystery, horror, action and romance, revolving around a mysterious forest and the beliefs surrounding an ancient temple.

Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Arunabh Kumar, the film features Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles, marking their first on-screen collaboration. The cast also includes Sunil Grover, Maniesh Paul, Shweta Tiwari and Anup Soni.

Produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor, the film seeks to bring a lesser-known Indian folk narrative to a wider audience while blending traditional mythology with a contemporary cinematic presentation.

The Vvaan: Force of the Forest is scheduled to release theatrically on September 25, 2026.
