New Delhi : The U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) brought together Spotify’s global and India leadership for an industry dinner, with April Boyd, the company’s VP and Global Head of Government Affairs, and Amarjit Singh Batra, Managing Director of Spotify India, among those in attendance.
The gathering drew a notable mix of guests — senior government and embassy officials, Members of Parliament, former diplomats, cultural strategists, and industry leaders — for an evening centered on how music and the broader cultural sector are increasingly shaping the U.S.-India relationship.
Culture as a bridge between nations
Conversations at the dinner touched on strengthening people-to-people ties and widening opportunities across music, sports, tourism, and the creative economy more broadly. Attendees also discussed findings from Spotify’s Loud & Clear report, which looks at the policy, economic, and geopolitical dynamics shaping India’s fast-changing creative and digital landscape.
The underlying message from the evening was clear: as the U.S. and India continue to build out their partnership across multiple sectors, culture and creativity are emerging as some of the most effective — and enduring — channels for connecting the two countries.
