Copenhagen: India’s startup ecosystem was showcased at TechBBQ 2026 in Copenhagen, where the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) set up a Startup India booth to highlight the country’s growing entrepreneurial landscape and connect Indian founders with members of the Nordic innovation community.
A key highlight of the event was an interaction between startups represented by the DPIIT delegation and Manish Prabhat, Ambassador of India to Denmark. Discussions focused on the startups’ innovations, international ambitions and opportunities to strengthen ties between India and Denmark.
The event provided a platform for Indian entrepreneurs to engage with global stakeholders and explore prospects related to cross-border collaboration, market access, investment and knowledge exchange.
The participation of Startup India at the Copenhagen event underlined India’s efforts to support its founders in expanding into international markets and building partnerships with innovation ecosystems across the world.
